About
Wooden Foundations is a small creative family with roots deep in illustration and hand drawn typography. A group of friends who share a similar idea and aesthetic and work together to distill that into something tangible. We’ve all come from a background of originally using aerosol paint to get that idea across, but we are no means limited by that approach. With a strong current of illustration, hand-drawn typography, collage and graphic design we aren’t restricted by the well worn titles of ‘graffiti’ or ‘street art’. In fact we just don’t dig being boxed in by cultural idioms and cool fads. We just love making pictures. Straight up… On this blog so we can share things that we really dig and fill you in on some projects we’ve been working on. Currently gathered in the teepee are Oh54, Bonsai, Nails and Twoone.
We hope you enjoy your visit here and don’t hesitate to drop us a line or send us a smoke signal to the camp headquarters.
Peace travellers,
